On Thursday 26 July LX Health hosted its largest startup pitch event at Miami Marketta on the Gold Coast.
The highly anticipated event sold out two weeks in advance drawing nearly 300 attendees and attracting 260 livestream viewers. With industry experts, hospital executives, founders, supporters and 40+ investors in the room, the evening was buzzing as it marked the culmination of the LuminaX HealthTech Accelerator’s 2024 cohort. Wahoo!
Although the 14 week LX HealthTech Accelerator has come to a close, it’s not the end for the 11 HealthTech founders as they continue to celebrate some massive wins post program.
Each year the program has seen remarkable growth including a 30% increase in mentorship in the last 12 months. Over 400 hours of guidance were provided by notable founders such as Vu Tran – the co-founder of Go1, Klaus Bartosch – founder of Dreamoro and industry leader Maree Knight from Mater. These invaluable connections are expected to fuel the ongoing development of this year’s startups.
